The Italians cannot be written off yet something tells me that France will prevail.
A 'Heartfelt Thank You' to everyone who has commented here during the tournament.
Immediately after the final I will be going on a week long holiday at a log cabin in the Bavarian Alps to recharge my batteries after a hectic and exhausting schedule during this fantastic month of World Cup football.
I'll catch up on posting here a week from today.

Thanks for the comments Don and Nick and Lee; Ronny won the sweepstake with 35 goals, I was in second with 33 and Juliet came third with 30.. On my reckoning you came in fourth with 29 goals.. just out of the prize money I'm afraid..
